A 49-year old woman with long-standing dozens of individual and coalescing dark pink-violet papules and nodules on her lower extremities.

    A 49-year-old woman with chronic and recurrent bouts of lymphedema of the lower extremities had not been seen by a physician for several years. She presented with dozens of individual and coalescing dark pink-violet papules and nodules on her lower extremities. The lesions were very pruritic and mildly painful. The patient has a long history of stasis.
