Scalp nodule in an 82 year old man

The patient is an 82 year old male who was seen in December of 2007 for followup regarding a melanoma that was excised in 2004 from the back. A 5 mm nodule was seen by the surgeon in the right scalp and he froze it with the plan being to excise it in the next visit if it does not resolve. The patient also has a history of colon cancer resected in the 1980s. In a followup visit in June of 2008, the scalp nodule was biopsied and sent in with the query "squamous cell cancer?".
