Sister Mary Joseph nodule - Using the Grimelius stain

    The patient is a female in her early 80s. She had an oophorectomy 8 years ago (? indication). She presented with weakness and weight loss. A CT scan of the abdomen showed ascites and metastatic liver and omental disease. An umbilical tumor nodule was excised by open biopsy technique.
