GENERAL INFORMATION
The Department of Pathology of La Spezia will hold a three day course focused on Thyroid and Head and Neck Pathology.
The course is for pathologists and will include ppt presentations and discussion at microscope and videoprojector of cases brought by the Directors of the course and problematic cases brought by the participants.
The participant number will be limited and therefore early application is advised.
Three day hands-on course for pathologists or pathologists in training with some experience in the interpretation of renal transplant biopsies. Networking and promoting cooperation. Various formats (input sessions, microscope sessions with faculty, microscope sessions in small groups, presentation of own cases) will be used to discuss the most common and relevant morphological lesions in renal transplant pathology.

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill presents this symposium to update practicing pathologists on selected topics in interstitial, vascular, neoplastic, and infectious lung diseases. The invited guest speaker is Dr. Thomas V. Colby from Mayo Clinic Scottsdale, who will present the ninth annual Walter Benson lecture. Dr. Colby's Benson Lecture will discuss the Pathologist's role in the diagnosis of interstitial lung disease.
Description
Cleveland Clinic's Department of Anatomic Pathology within the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Institute will present a two and one-half postgraduate day course to provide physicians with current advances in the diagnosis in surgical pathology and cytology. It will address the need to acquire ever-increasing knowledge in a diverse practice setting. We will cover medical knowledge, practice-based issues and medical education issues as applied to pathology.
