Dr. Joan Guitart

     

     

     

    Dr. Guitart is professor of dermatology and pathology at the Northwestern University Feinberg Medical School. He completed his medical degree at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and trained in pathology, dermatology and dermatopathology at the University of Illinois and Cleveland Clinic Foundation.  As Director of the Multidisciplinary Cutaneous Lymphoma Clinic and the Dermatopathology Laboratory, he has acquired over the years extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of lymphomas of the skin. He was the director of the First World Congress of Cutaneous Lymphomas and sits in the Board of Directors of several societies including American Society of Dermatopathology, International Society of Cutaneous Lymphomas, US Consortium of Cutaneous Lymphomas and International Society of Dermatopathology. He has authored or co-authored over 150 peer–reviewed publications and is a member of the Editorial Board of the AJDP and JCP.
