    Richard Jordan DDS MSc PhD FRCPath is Professor of Oral Pathology, Pathology & Radiation Oncology at the University of California San Francisco  and is the Director of Oral Pathology in the UCSF Dermatopathology & Oral Pathology Service. In addition, he is also the co-Director of the NRG Oncology Biobank based at UCSF, University of Pittsburgh and Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus Ohio.  NRG Oncology is the largest NCI funded co-operative cancer group enrolling 5099 patients annually into cancer clinical trials collecting, storing and reviewing 138,000 biospecimens per year.   Dr. Jordan is boarded in both oral medicine and oral & maxillofacial pathology in the US and Canada. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists in the UK.  He is the author of two leading textbooks, one in oral pathology and the other in oral medicine.  As a funded clinician-scientist he has published over 140 peer reviewed publication in cancer biology, biomarkers and the pathology of head and neck diseases.
