Clinical Features:

• Disorder of unknown etiology affecting patients on renal dialysis
• There is thickening and induration of the skin, most often on the trunk and limbs.

Histologic Features:

• Thickened dermis
• The collagen bundles are arranged haphazardly throughout the dermis and subcutaneous septa.
• Increased fibroblasts
• Increased dermal mucin
• Scattered multinucleated histiocytes spread throughout the dermis
