Clinical Features:
- Presents most commonly on the lower trunk or buttocks of young adults
- Skin-colored papules that may coalesce to form large plaques
Histologic Features:
- Mature adipose tissue is present within the papillary dermis, often most prominently around blood vessels.
- Vascularity may be increased.
- The epidermis may be normal, acanthotic or hyperkeratotic.
- Focal myxoid change may be present.
