Clinical Features:

• Presents most commonly on the lower trunk or buttocks of young adults
• Skin-colored papules that may coalesce to form large plaques

Histologic Features:

• Mature adipose tissue is present within the papillary dermis, often most prominently around blood vessels.
• Vascularity may be increased.
• The epidermis may be normal, acanthotic or hyperkeratotic.
• Focal myxoid change may be present.
