Clinical Features:
- Pruritic nummular (coin-shaped) crusted plaques on the extensor surfaces of the extremities, most commonly affecting older adults
Histologic Features:
- The typical features of spongiotic dermatitis are seen, without any characteristic features.
- Intraepidermal vesicles may be present.
- Similar to what is seen in delayed-type hypersensitivity reactions, clusters of Langerhans cells and eosinophils may be seen.
