Clinical Features:
- Variant of verrucae vulgares most commonly occurring as a solitary lesion on the ball of the foot
- Often markedly hyperkeratotic
Histologic Features:
- Marked hyperkeratosis
- Marked papillomatosis
- Vacuolated keratinocytes with brightly eosinophilic inclusions around the periphery of the cell
- Strongly basophilic, round keratinocyte nuclei
