The objectives of this conference are:

*       to review classifications for kidney, liver, heart, lung, and pancreas allograft pathology.
*       to discuss management of the sensitized patient and the concept of C4d- negative antibody-mediated       rejection.
*       to discuss genomics/proteomics approaches to rejection diagnosis, looking for light microscopic markers which correlate with genomics parameters, and vice versa
*       to discuss the possible primacy of epithelial damage and the concept of epithelial mesenchymal transformation.
*       to discuss significance of isolated intimal arteritis.
*       to explore scoring and significance of glomerulitis.
*    to explore means of scoring and assessing polyoma virus infection.
*       to discuss the role and assessment of protocol biopsies.
*       to discuss the role of digital imaging in transplant pathology
*       to discuss formation of new working groups for future questions.
