Recent years have produced exponential growth in new techniques to supplement the morphologic evaluation of cytologic specimens. At this new course, general pathologists, cytopathologists, and cytotechnologists will hear from distinguished faculty, many of whom were instrumental in the creation of the 2008 Bethesda System for reporting thyroid cytopathology. Discussion will focus on major areas in diagnostic cytopathology, including the Bethesda System and the latest revisions regarding reporting gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytology. (all day)
