The 23rd European Congress of Pathology Meeting of the European Society of Pathology will host participants from all over Europe.

The participants are practicing pathologists, academic pathologists and researchers. In particular, pathology laboratory directors and heads of pathology departments will widely be represented.

The intercongress is by rule dedicated to meeting of the ESP working groups and associated societies, encompassing almost all specific fields of pathology, including hottest topics. Molecular biology, cytogenetics and telepathology will also be extensively discussed in separate sessions.

Special attention will be paid to the role of the pathologist in prognosis and treatment of cancer patients, including the results of the newest research on diagnostic tests, allowing proper selection of patients for targeted therapy.
