Cleveland Clinic: 38th Annual Dermatopathology Self-Assessment Workshop

Description

This advanced dermatopathology workshop will be devoted to the study of 50 unknown microscopic slides using a
self-assessment approach of multiple choice and single answer questions. A discussion will follow, which will include the case description, diagnosis, differential considerations, and pertinent comments about each disease. Emphasis will be placed on benign and malignant skin tumors, bullous diseases and inflammatory dermatoses. An interactive computer system will be employed to assist audience participation in the discussion.

Target Audience

Dermatologists,  Pathologists, Dermatopathologists, Oral Pathologists, and Interested Physicians. 

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

  • Analyze the broad spectrum of disorders in dermatopathology.
  • Recommend an approach to the unknown which will assist in the final diagnosis.
  • Cite specific features and differential diagnoses.
  • Demonstrate advances and their application to diagnosis.

Participants claiming CME credit from this activity may submit the credit hours to the American Osteopathic Association Council on Continuing Medical Education for Category 2 credit.

The Cleveland Clinic 38th Annual Dermatopathology Self-Assessment Workshop is recognized by the American Academy of Dermatology for 6.0 hours of AAD category 1 CME credits and may be used toward the American Academy of Dermatology's Continuing Medical Education Award. Program #252-100  

Registration and Cancellation

Pre-registrations are accepted by fax or online until 1:00 pm EST September 10, 2010. To register after this date you must do so on-site.

In case of cancellation, a full refund will be made if canceled by August 20, 2010. After August 20, 2010, a $50 cancellation fee will be deducted from your refund. Written notification of your cancellation is required in order to process your refund.
