Welcome to IAOO 2011

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Since its foundation in 2005, the International Academy of Oral Oncology has made significant strides and has conducted two outstanding World Congresses in Amsterdam (2007) and Toronto (2009).  The success of these two World Congresses speaks for the vibrancy of IAOO.  This is the only international collaborative organization dealing with the specialty of oral oncology, putting together head and neck surgeons, maxillofacial surgeons, oral surgeons, dental surgeons, pathologists, specialists in oral medicine and allied clinical specialists as well as basic scientists in the field of oral oncology on the same platform.

The Congress chairman Dr. Khee Chee Soo with his local organizing committee and program committee are doing an outstanding job in putting together a magnificent conference in the thriving cosmopolitan city of Singapore in 2011. Singapore is a favorite destination to visit all year round with exciting venues to visit, plenty of shopping and activities to do, and diverse cultures to experience. In addition, you will have the excellent opportunity to savor all varieties of Asian cuisine while in Singapore.

On behalf of the officers and members of the council of IAOO, I want to extend to you my personal invitation to plan to attend this dynamic conference which will bring you up to date with new discoveries and progress in the field of oral oncology.
