It is a great pleasure to invite you to the 40th Annual Meeting of the European Society for Dermatological Research, which will take place in Helsinki, Finland, from 8-11 September 2010.
The organizing committee has planned a stimulating scientific program to cover all new aspects and latest developments in research on cutaneous biology and dermatology.
The congress venue Marina Congress Centre is ideally located at the harbourside right in the heart of Helsinki in vicinity of the historic centre of the city. The downtown of Helsinki, with its harbour for cruise ships, lively market square, world class shopping, dining and busy nightlife is just a few steps away from the congress venue. The social events have been planned to give you an opportunity to taste Finnish cuisine and enjoy the attractions of Helsinki.
Please mark your calendar with the dates for ESDR 2010 and attend the meeting to hear the latest developments in dermatological research and to meet friends and colleagues. We look forward to seeing you in Helsinki next autumn.
Sincerely
Veli-Matti Kähäri

Drug Development in Dermatology is open to all participants registering for the main meeting. As you will see from the program below, this session has been designed to include 4 educational overview talks, 2 from an academic setting and 2 from a pharma setting. One of the aims is to increase interaction between academia and Pharma and we hope this will an interesting and interactive session. Please note the timing of this new initiative when making your travel plans.
This program emphasises a stronger educational track within the Helsinki meeting and may be usefully linked to translational medicine and therapeutics poster walks that will facilitate discussion of new data and abstracts submitted by both academia and Pharma.
