Cleveland Clinic: A Hands on Approach to Diagnostic Pathology

Cleveland Clinic's Department of Anatomic Pathology within the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Institute will present a two and one-half postgraduate day course to provide physicians with current advances in the diagnosis in surgical pathology and cytology. It will address the need to acquire ever-increasing knowledge in a diverse practice setting. We will cover medical knowledge, practice-based issues and medical education issues as applied to pathology.

This event provides physicians with a unique opportunity to increase and fine-tune their diagnostic skills as virtual microscopy case studies covering fourteen different subspecialty areas of pathology will be reviewed throughout the course in small group tutorial sessions including:

  • Cardiovascular pathology,
  • Cytology,
  • Dermatopathology,
  • Head and Neck pathology,
  • Gastrointestinal and Pancreatic pathology,
  • Genitourinary pathology,
  • Gynecologic and Ovarian pathology,
  • Hematopathology,
  • Ophthalmic pathology,
  • Pulmonary pathology,
  • Soft Tissue pathology and
  • Special Techniques in Electron Microscopy and In Situ Hybridization.
