ACUTE MYELOID LEUKEMINA "MOLECULAR"
Common and Distinct Features
October 14-16, 2011, Mandelieu, France.
Chairpersons: H Döhner, B Löwenberg
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
Molecular techniques are creating novel insights into the biology and therapeutic perspectives of AML. Molecular diagnosis allows us to consider patients with different disease behavior and prognosis, and develop more specific therapies and apply riskadjusted therapeutic approaches.
This Scientific Workshop on ACUTE MYELOID LEUKEMIA 'MOLECULAR' intends to promote informal interaction and ample discussion between scientists and clinicians working in the field. Scientific presentations by international leaders in the field will provide the current status and a perspective of these exciting developments. Results from both basic and clinical research will be presented. One key feature of this workshop will be to enhance scientific interaction and collaboration. The target audience will comprise PhD students, basic scientists, scientist/physicians, as well as clinicians with a specific interest in the field.
TARGETED AUDIENCE
The target audience will comprise basic scientists, scientist/physicians, as well as clinicians with a specific interest in the field.
