Hanoi is the capital of Vietnam. It is the gateway to the north of Vietnam. The conference will be held in the morning leaving free time to explore Hanoi in the afternoon.

The Hanoi conference will be followed by a seminar on tropical and venereal diseases in Luang Prabang, Laos. This city was the royal capital of Laos and has many historical sites. There are many areas of natural beauty not far from the city.
