Dear fellow ISDS members,

 This Springtime notice should remind you that September 23-26, 2010 in Bucharest Romania will be your ONE chance this year to re-commune with your ISDS compatriots-so COME!!! Join us at the ISDS 31st Annual Congress. Our 4 co-chairs have put together another outstanding educational program again ranging from basic surgical skills to reconstructive surgery as well as cosmetic dermasurgery and high-tech energy-based techniques. The format includes both formal courses by world-renowned experts as well as free communications fromour members who wish to teach as well as learn. Our corporate contributors will also have product-specifi c concurrent educational programs.This will be our fi rst ISDS foray into Eastern Europe--- in the land of Vlad the Impaler known through modern legend as Dracula. Though bloodthirsty vampires will not be part of our social evening program we will be able to sample and enjoy traditional Romanian cultural activities, dances and foods at our Dracula evening. You can leave your rings of garlic cloves at home. City tours of Parisian Bucharest and pre- or post-tours of Romania's remarkable mountains, Delta and traditional painted houses will highlight the unique character of this nation. So come to enjoy the country and our collegial meeting. Don't forget to remind your local dermatologic friends and your ISDS "annual buddies" that you are coming and that they should also come for a worldclass experience. Judy and I both have part of our heritage from Romania and we are anxious to experience it and have you join us in our learning and celebration.
