Short description:

This three-part course is designed for trainees as well as for experienced colleagues. Lectures as well as discussion of selected cases will alternate for each part. Review of virtual slides prior to the course will be available.

Part I will be devoted to common lung and pleural diseases.

Part II will cover interstitial lung diseases; also pediatric pulmonary

diseases will be discussed. Clinical case presentations of interstitial lung

diseases combined with biopsy interpretation will be included.

Part III will be focused on common tumours such as mediastinal

lymphomas, thymomas and thymic carcinomas, but also on rare tumours

of the mediastinum.
