Venue: Department of Pathology, Singapore General Hospital
Course Directors: Dr Angela Chong, Dr Puay Hoon Tan
Invited Expert: Dr Sunil Lakhani
About the course:
This inaugural SGH Breast Pathology Course aims to provide an update on current challenges in diagnostic breast pathology, integrating microscopic slide sessions with didactic lectures. A novel feature of this course is the ‘Consult the expert’ session, using a thematic approach with unusual, interesting or problematic cases contributed by registrants, as well as incorporating in-house SGH breast pathology cases. Participants will have ample opportunity to review and discuss these cases during the course. Glass slides, optical and virtual microscopy will be available for the workshop.
A series of lectures discussing timely topics and diagnostic approaches, harnessing adjunctive tools to pathologic workup, will be another feature of the course. DVDs of lectures and cases will be distributed to participants during the course.
