Course Leader: Dr Richard Chasty - Consultant Haematologist

Lecturers: Dr R Chasty, Dr A Stewart (Consultant Haematologist),

Dr Mark Stevens (Consultant Histopathologist)

This course, which includes both lectures and work at individual microscopes, is suitable for staff grade haematologists and advanced trainees in haematology. It is also ideally suited to Specialist Registrars in Haematology and Histopathology preparing for the Royal College exams. The course focuses on histopathology of the bone marrow with an emphasis on microscopic evaluation and discussion of; normal morphology, extensive collection of test cases, and interpretation of immunohistochemistry by the participants. Morphology of lymphoid tissue will also be included in the program of study.
