To make a conference, project or event visible only to members of your group, when you create the page, untick the 'public' box in the Audience section of the Groups Fieldset:

The audience section shows all the groups to which you belong.

Dermpedia is configured so that every case you add to a conference, project or event takes on the same permission characteristics as the conference, project or event. So too with every image you add to every case. Therefore if the parent conference, project or event has the public box unticked then the same will apply to all linked cases and images. If you decide at a later stage to make the conference, project or event public then you simply tick the public box, click on submit and all linked cases and images will be available. Whatever you do to the conference, projects or event will be transmitted to all linked cases and images.
