Division Chief of Clinical Pathology in Cleveland
University Hospitals (UH) Health System in Cleveland, Ohio is seeking a Division Chief for Clinical Pathology.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years faculty experience and be board certified in clinical pathology. Subspecialty expertise in blood banking/transfusion medicine or molecular genetic pathology is strongly preferred in order to meet clinical demand in these areas. In addition to strong clinical skills, you will have a track record of successful research, which may include clinical, translation and/or basic science. A well-established and visionary leader within the clinical pathology community, you will bring proven organizational leadership skills and operations abilities.
In this role, reporting to the Chair and Vice Chair of the Department of Pathology, you will hold administrative responsibility for the Clinical Pathology Division, including managing staffing to optimize operations and ensure quality of care, supervising Section Medical Directors within the Division, assessing opportunities and recommending actions to further expand and develop the Division, and working closely to support overall initiatives and leadership of the Department.
