The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine currently has an opening for a Laboratory Technical Assisitant in the clinical Dermatopathology Laboratory in the Department of Dermatology. 

Duties include but are not limited to: accession specimens from couriers with identifying number on accessioning form and corresponding bottle. Entering accessioning data into computer. Preparing supplies in shipping boxes to be sent to clients. Transporting specimens to other areas either inside or outside of building. 

Minimum educational requirement is High School or equivalent. One (1) year general technician or assistant in a laboratory setting. Training will be provided to work in assigned areas. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications will be considered.
