Is a 34-physician group serving 12 hospitals, as well as two independent clinical labs in Southern California and one in Arizona. APMG seeks one experienced, full time Pathologists' Assistant, who is committed to hospital-based practice, has strong surgical pathology knowledge, articulate communication skills, and will provide complete grossing services at a Portland-based hospital.

The duties include, but are not limited to: preparation, gross description and dissection of human tissue surgical specimens; preparation of human postmortem examinations; maintaining gross room instruments and equipment; supply ordering; assisting in preparation of inspections by regulatory agencies; and may perform various managerial and/or administrative duties, including handling budgets, supervising employees, etc. The lab holds CAP and CLIA certifications.
