    10 year old boy with an enlarging, 1.2cm lesion on the left shin wiht the clinical impression ?dermatofibroma.

    Scottsdale 2011 Melanoma Course Case Bordeline deep penetrating tumor

    39-year-old male with a lesion on the anterior chest since childhood.  The tumor has been slowly growing.  It was excised, revealing a very extensive cellular multilobulated tumor extending into the subcutis.

    Scottsdale 2011 Melanoma Course Case Lentigo maligna in a Slow Moh's specimen

    43 year old woman with melanoma on the left lower leg showing evidence 
    of regression.
    7 years previously she had a biopsy of the same site showing 
    superficial dermal fibrosis, vascular ectasia, mild chronic 
    inflammation and pigment-laden macrophages suggestive of regressed 
    melanocytic lesion.

    The patient was a 56 year old woman with a pigmented lesion on the cheek clinically thought to represent a solar lentigo. The lesion was biopsied to rule out lentigo maligna.
