The National Specialist Dermatopathology (NSD) EQA Scheme is a United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland wide scheme set up with the support of the Royal College of Pathologists Dermatopathology Subcommittee with the aims of education (exchange of ideas and dispersal of new knowledge) and ensuring the highest standards of performance in diagnostic histopathology. It is designed for specialists in dermatopathology and is aimed at a level to conform to the equivalent of the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) specialist skin cancer MDT work. Non-neoplastic cases are aimed at a similar level. The scheme includes lymphoma and sarcoma involving the skin.
