Dr. Nooshin Brinster Conference Page

    Nooshin Brinster MD is a dermatologist and dermatopathologist at New York University. She was born and raised in Miami, Florida and attended Duke University in Durham, North Carolina for undergraduate studies where she majored in Biology and graduated Magna cum laude in 1992.  She studied medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.  There she graduated among the top students in her class and was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.  Upon completing an internship in internal medicine at the University of California in San Francisco, she went to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland for her dermatology residency.  After practicing dermatology for several years, she completed the Harvard dermatopathology fellowship and has been practicing both dermatopathology and dermatology since.  She is on the editorial board for the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, serves on committees for the American Society of Dermatopathology, lectures nationally and internationally in dermatopathology, has published numerous papers in peer reviewed journals and is an author of the textbook High Yield Dermatopathology, with Dr. Phillip McKee.

    She lives outside New York City with her husband, a cardiac surgeon, and their four daughters, ages 16, 14, 12 and 8.
