Director of Pediatric Dermatology

    The University of Michigan Departments of Dermatology and Pediatrics are seeking a BC/BE pediatric dermatologist to become the Director of Pediatric Dermatology, within the University of Michigan Health System and the new C.S. Mott Children's and Von Voigtlander Women's Hospital (opening in November 2011).

    With 1.1 million gross square feet, including over 250,000 square feet of outpatient clinic and office space, this new $750+ million facility represents the University of Michigan Health Systems continuing commitment to providing excellence in pediatric medicine and the finest healthcare environment in the region.

    This new faculty position presents a remarkable opportunity to build an outstanding pediatric dermatology program within a nationally recognized dermatology department and at one of the best pediatric hospitals in the nation.

    The successful candidate will initiate, develop and manage our pediatric dermatology program, teach U-M Medical School Students and Dermatology/Pediatric Residents.

    Applicants must be board certified/board-eligible in Dermatology, eligible for a Michigan Medical License, and have additional training in pediatric dermatology (completion of a pediatric dermatology fellowship or BC/BE in pediatric dermatology, preferred). Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience of the successful candidate.
